This is how you can deal with your anxiety better.

Realise and accept that your anxiety isn’t going anywhere.

Learn to work with it and not go against it.

If you’re having sleepless nights working towards a big but stressful project, then take a piece of paper and use it to brain dump the things you’re micromanaging in your head.

Sometimes, writing down things on a to-do list takes away some of that internal pressure you put on yourself to get things right.

List things down on your to-do list according to how much stress they are giving you in the present moment.

After you’ve brain-dumped all that extra stuff on the paper, pick three things out of the list that give you the most anxiety.

You have to start with the most anxiety-riddled task and do it. Don’t worry about perfection.

Just get it done.

Then, pick the next task on your list and repeat.

And repeat.

If you want to mix it up, take a task out of your list that only requires you to show up to get it done and does not require much mental energy. In that way, you can do things that don’t need you to be mentally present all the time.

Do that in between your other ‘anxiety-giving’ or the most anxiety-riddled tasks.

And there you go.
